The brand new Komptech Topturn X4500 windrow turner came into port yesterday, with two larger Topturn X63 compost turner models. Both the X4500 and X63 are headed to the USCC Conference Demo Days in Los Angeles, California on January 26th.
The Topturn X4500 self-propelled compost turner was announced last year and is making its debut at the USCC Conference in January. The Komptech Topturn X4500 brings high-end performance to the entry level category. It was built with same high quality and performance standards of all X series, in a scale that is a perfect fit for small and medium size composting operations.
The Topturn X63 is designed for the most demanding tasks. Equipped with a more powerful engine and with an intake width of almost 20′ the Topturn X63 boasts a turning capacity of close to 6000 yd3/hr. A large hydraulically driven drum with powerful conveyor and throwing tools accelerates the turning and rotting processes while producing a high peaked windrow for reduced odors.
